Especially people from rural area's like Newark and Melbourne should look the other way ;)
I upgraded my home internet connection today and this is the result:
The upload speed is still too low (it is supposed to be 10Mbps), but download seems pretty good to me :)
Update: The screenshot above was taken on a MBP (standard settings via a Gigabit port on a Time Capsule). On XP (using the same router) the download speed was about 60 Mbps. I am now testing tools like TCPOptimizer to improve the network settings on XP, but cannot get past 70 Mbps at this point.
I guess this is another point for Apple in the Mac vs. Windows competition. At least if it's not a router issue, optimized for Apple and not Windows for example.
